White Crest Wellfleet

White Crest Beach Wellfleet

White Crest beach is visually stunning with tall dune cliffs and a coarse sand shoreline. White Crest (sometimes called Four Mile or Surfer's Beach) has probably the best longboard wave on the Cape.

The gentle summer sandbars here provide clean, consistent lefts, ideal for beginners and experienced surfers alike. White Crest has copious parking with lots on both sides of Ocean View Drive.

Facilities include both restrooms and concessions. Lifeguards are also on duty in-season. Please note access could be difficult for senior citizens or the disabled due to the steep dune path leading to the beach.

Directions: From Route 6 in Wellfleet take Cahoon Hollow Rd. At its end, turn right on Ocean View Drive and look for White Crest's parking lots on both sides of the road.
