The
Wall
The Wall is a popular beach break that gets crowded, often during
summertime when lifeguards enforce “surf zones." This
beach is sometimes confused with North Hampton Beach, which lies
further north and isn't a good surf spot. The impact zone here can
be dangerous when conditions are big. Bottom topography is mostly
sand, with some rocks mixed in. These sandbars support waves knee
high and up - swell size is also usually bigger than other area
breaks. Optimum wind direction is NW to WSW with best swell direction
being ESE. Mid-tide is the preferred tidal range.
