Rye on the Rocks
This is an exposed reef break that receives pretty consistent surf. Cleanest conditions are when winds blow offshore from the west. Most of the surf here yields from groundswell with the optimum swell direction being east. The break itself is a reef offering clean lefthand shoulders. The best tidal phase is mid-tide for this spot. Larger conditions dictate a more crowded lineup here. The only real hazard here is the rock reef itself, so be careful where you take off.
