Vineyard Sound Fishing Report
August 11 - Fisherman are having luck with
bluefish and stripers in the early morning.
- Bonita has been biting out by Hedge's Fence.
- Word of marlin is starting to pop out by the canyons.
- Blue Fin has been spotted about three miles south of the
Vineyard.

August 11 -Things are slowing down dramatically along
the canal.
- The makerel are still moving through the canal and the
late season movement has caused a bit of frustration for fishermen.
- Some have had luck catching stripers and bluefish in the
early mornings and late evenings with the incoming tides.
- The fish have been on surface or just below and are biting pencils,
poppers and pogies.
