Saturday August 16th 6:45 am - Today offers waist high waves with light and variable offshore wind under grey skies with chance of light rain and scattered thunderstorms - low tide is at 6:05 pm. Nantucket buoy is showing (5:50am) 3.3' at 8 secs from SE. Waves will continue waist high tomorrow with sunshine and wind SW at 10+.

Friday August 15th 8 am - We've got waves. Waist-chest high today through Monday. Nantucket buoy is currently (6:50am) showing 4.6' at 8 secs from SSE. Today's wind is SSW at around 10mph; skies are grey with scattered thunderstorms forecast; low tide is at 5:15 pm. Wind lightens up and shifts to SSE tomorrow.

Thursday August 14th 8 am - Knee high set waves and glassy and this morning under gray skies; wind blows NE at 5-10 mph by this afternoon; low tide at 4:36pm; light showers possible. Swell coming in from SE on Friday with possible waist high sets and wind SSE at 10+. Wind shifts SSW Saturday at 10-15 with solid waist+ waves; wind lightens up and comes in from W on Sunday with waist high sets.

Wednesday August 13th 8 am -This is a great day for flat water light wind sports like wake boarding and water skiing. Today's waves are shin high; low tide is at 4pm; the sun is out, the wind is light offshore and it's warm. Tomorrow will be similar. Friday might see waves in thigh-waist range. There's some activity in the Atlantic that could develop into nice swell in about 10 days.

Tuesday August 12th 8am -Bumpy water and thigh high waves with cloudy skies and forecast of thunder showers today. Waves are not clean this morning but could be better this afternoon after some grooming from offshore wind at NW 15 mph+. Today's low tide is at 3pm. Knee high and cleaner tomorrow. Low pressure systems headed this way could give us nice waves later this week.

Monday August 11th 7 am - Thigh high and bumpy today with onshore SE wind shifting to E at 10+ mph and possible gusts of 20 mph - Nantucket buoy is showing (5:50 am) 3.0' at 6 secs from SSE - low tide is at 2pm - rain and thunder showers likely. Wind shifts to NW  Tuesday with possible clean waist high waves and light rain in the morning. Wednesday and Thursday look essentially flat but sunny. Friday could be waist high and clean. A couple of low pressure systems in the Atlantic might develop into something good in about 10 days.

Sunday August 10th 7:30 am - Thigh high and a little bumpy today with onshore SE wind at around 10 mph - Nantucket buoy is showing (6:50 am) 3.0' at 8 secs - low tide is at 1:07 pm - it will be sunny with a high of 79F.  Knee high Monday with onshore ESE at around 10 mph and thunder showers in the morning. Possible waist high Tuesday with early morning with N 15 mph wind shifting to W. Low pressure system coming up the coast may deliver waist high waves and clean conditions next weekend.
