Dennis the Manatee Dies
Dennis the Manatee died enroute to Florida yesterday.  At 1:30 pm Sunday his vital signs were good. By 3:00 pm he was dead. When Dennis was removed from Sesuit Harbor his core body temperature was 73 F, twenty degrees below normal. The Seaworld team had succeeded in raising his temperature to 89F before he died. Friday, October 17th, 6:45 am - Chest high and bumpy today with sunshine and NE wind at 15-20 mph; low tide is at 7:57 am; Nantucket buoy is showing (5:50 am) 3.9' at 5 secs from N. Bumpy chest+ Saturday. Washing machine on Sunday. Looks like clean and head high on Monday.

Thursday, October 16th, 8:30 am - Chest high today, foggy with light rain later, light SSE wind building to 10-15 mph SSW this afternoon; high tide is at 1:03 pm; Nantucket buoy is showing (7:50 am) 4.3' at 9 secs from SE. Bumpy chest-head Friday and Saturday with 20 mph NE wind. Monday could be head high and clean.

Wednesday, October 15th, 9:30 am - Waist+ today with NE wind at 5-10 mph; low tide is at 6:57 pm; Nantucket buoy is showing (8:50 am) 3.9' at 8 secs from SE. Thursday should be waist high with light SW wind in morning building to 15-20 mph by the afternoon. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday look like bumpy conditions from strong N and NE wind.

Monday, October 13th 8am -Knee high today, mostly sunny, light W wind this morning shifting to NE at 10-15mph this afternoon; low tide is at 5:25 pm; Nantucket buoy is showing (6:50 am) 1.6' at 9 secs from SE. Knee high and bumpy on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday could be waist high with offshore wind under 10mph.
