Old Orchard Beach, Maine

Description
Maine's number one beach is also the most popular with tourists. Because of its fine sand & wide expanse, Old Orchard is a stop on the Professional Beach Volleyball Tour. Competitions are scheduled throughout the season. Seven miles of sand, surf, food, games and entertainment exist here next to the shore. Facilities include restrooms, a bathhouse and showers. Lifeguards are also on duty here in-season. Parking is available at several private lots and metered curbside parking.

Directions
Take Maine Turnpike to Exit 5 (Saco). Then follow Route 5 to all the way to beach.
