Description
Pavilion is located where Plum Island Sound opens up into Ipswich Bay. This beach resides inside Great Neck Park. It provides a nice backdrop to the shoreline. Surf can become intense here with strong rip currents also forming. No lifeguards are on duty in-season. Facilities include a picnic area, playground and boat launch. Parking is available in a public municipal lot.


 

 

Directions
From the west: Take Rte. 95 to exit 54 - Rte. 133 East
From the south: Take Rte. 128 to exit 20 - Route 1A North
Continue through Ipswich on Rte. 1A/133 for 1/2 mile to a bend in the road and continue through Ipswich center. At the bend, go straight on County Rd. another mile, then bear left on Jeffreys Neck Rd. After 1.7 miles, take the right fork on Little Neck Rd.
