| Nauset Beach Live Cam Nauset Beach in Orleans is one of the biggest and most famous beaches on Cape Cod. This area is a hotspot for beachgoers of all ages. Tourists and locals alike frequent Nauset in large numbers during the summer. Swimming and surfing are favorite pastimes in the cool Atlantic water. Surfcasting for stripers and bluefish is also popular. Seals are common seasonal visitors to this shoreline as well. Extensive facilities exist here including public restrooms/showers, wheelchair accessibility, a full-service concession stand and large picnic area. Lifeguards are also on duty and patrol the beach either on foot or from quad 4WD vehicles. Providing handicap access are two wooden boardwalks and a medium-sized gazebo built right above the dunes. The extra large parking lot is capable of holding several hundred vehicles. A daily parking fee is charged here for Orleans non-residents. The lot fills up quickly on weekends and holidays during the season, so be sure to arrive early in order to get a spot. Facilities here consist of public restrooms, outdoor showers and a handicap accessible ramp to the beach. Lifeguards are also on duty in-season. Directions: From Route 6A, follow Main Street through East Orleans to Nauset Beach Rd. all the way to the beach.
