Incorporated in 1639, Sandwich is Cape Cod's oldest town. It is split
by the Cape Cod Canal with the majority of its population and land mass
residing on the Cape portion. Sandwich is a mostly residential community
with a small year round population. Residents here feel the local charm
and uniqueness combined with an ideal location make Sandwich a great place

village, a world-renowned tourist destination, providing a glimpse into
New England's rich colonial history.
