It's lighthouse, indicating the northernmost tip of the Cape for marine vessels, is just a short walk away. Beachgoers can almost always observe fish, seals, whales and boats, all traveling through deep water close to shore. Because the sun shines directly overhead all day, Race point is a perfect tanning spot.
