CG Cam
The CG Cam had some tech issues in the past few months that we hope are now resolved. The cam image automatically updates again and the enlarged image function is available.

Can you clear something up for me? There are times when CG Beach is viewed "live" with the beauty of movement. Other
times the shots of the beach are "still". How can we as viewers control that? The web cam is beautiful.
Thank you.

Could you write a blog or make a comment on the destruction of coast guard and nauset? Your comments are always insightful.

These beaches are totally gone. I was there yesterday. Stairs washed away. Cliffs straight down 10 or more feet. People walking on doons anyway causing more damage. We really need to stay off. Hopefully, the park rangers will patrol more regularly to help conserve the area before it's entirely ruined. Real sad :(
The ocean has caused major destruction

coast guard and nauset.
It has washed away, nauset is just as bad. the entrance of the beach you see in the web cam drops off 4 feet.
The outer cape beaches lost at least 4 ft of sand and the dunes we're pushed back at least 5 feet.
At high tide theres no beach left.
I hope it rebuilds itself before summer. because the destruction is enormous.
Just wonder why the media hasn't picked it up that much?
Coast guard bech is littered with concrete, pavement. trash and the stairs of nauset light.
There are telephone poles sticking out of the dunes sideways.
Nauset where the lifeguards are is back at least 10 feet on lost about 6 ft of sand so the same as coast guard.
