MoreBeach® Map Contest
Official Rules
- Open to US residents only age 18 and older
- Contest ends August 15, 2008
- One entry per person during the entire Entry Period
- No purchase necessary
1. Contest Description / Eligibility: No
purchase necessary. This promotion is open only to legal residents
of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are
over 18 years of age. Employees, partners and advisors of MoreBeach,
Inc. and their immediate family members are not eligible. This
promotion is void where prohibited by law. The promotion begins
on June 21, 2008 and ends at midnight on August 15, 2008 ("Entry
Period"). There will be 3 preliminary drawings and one final
drawing during the Entry Period held respectively on July 7,
July 21, August 4 and August 18. All entrants are eligible to
win prizes in the August 18 final drawing. Preliminary drawings
will be held for entrants received in each preliminary drawing
period and in the final drawing as specified below:
- 1st Period: June 21 – July 5…
Drawing on July 7
- 2nd Period: July 6 – July 19…
Drawing on July 21
- 3rd Period: July 20 – August 2…
Drawing on August 4
- Final Drawing: June 21 – August
15… Drawing on August 18th
2. Winner Notification: Winners will be notified
via email or telephone within one day of each drawing.
3. How to Enter: You will be entered into
a sweepstakes drawing when you complete and submit an entry
form that specifies what is misplaced on the MoreBeach.com 2008
Cape Cod Beach Map. No purchase or registration is necessary.
You may enter in one of three ways:

- Send email to: contest@morebeach.com
- Include name, home town and contact email address
- Tell us what is misplaced on the map
- Tell us if you would like to receive news and offers
from MoreBeach®
- Send a postcard to:

- Postcards must arrive at the MoreBeach® PO Box
one day prior to the preliminary and final drawings.
- Method of entry does not affect the chances of winning.
- When entering please be sure to include your name, town
and contact email address (or phone number if email is unavailable).
Please also tell us what is misplaced on the map.
- No responsibility is assumed by MoreBeach® for lost,
late, or misdirected entries or any computer, online, postal
service, or technical malfunctions that may occur. Odds of
winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Limit one prize per person.
- No substitution, transfer, or assignment of prize permitted,
except that MoreBeach® reserves the right to substitute
a prize of equivalent value in the event the offered prize
is unavailable. All taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility
of the prize winners.
4. Where to find the 2008 Cape Cod Beach Map:
100,000 print maps are being distributed between June 13 and
August 1 at tourist centers and other locations around Cape
Cod and points leading to Cape Cod. The 2008 Cape Cod Beach
Map may also be viewed online as a pdf
document and jpeg
image.
5. General Conditions: Entrants agree to
abide by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions
of MoreBeach®, which are final and binding on all matters
pertaining to this sweepstakes. This sweepstakes is governed
by the laws of the United States. All federal, state, and local
laws and regulations apply. Prize winners may be required to
execute an affidavit of eligibility within seven (7) days following
the date of attempted notification. Non-compliance within this
time period may result in disqualification and selection of
an alternate winner. Return of any prize/prize notification
as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection
of an alternate winner. Entrants further grant to MoreBeach®
the right to use and publish their proper name and town online,
in print, and in any other media in connection with the contest.
Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for MoreBeach®
to use winners' names and likenesses for advertising and promotional
purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by
law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless MoreBeach®,
its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors,
officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability or
any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in
connection with this contest or any prize won.
6. Internet: If for any reason the Internet
portion of the program is not capable of running as planned,
including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized
intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes
beyond the control of MoreBeach® that corrupt or affect
the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper
conduct of this contest, MoreBeach® reserves the right,
at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers
with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or
suspend the promotion. MoreBeach® assumes no responsibility
for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay
in operation or transmission, communications-line failure, theft,
or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of,
entries. MoreBeach® is not responsible for any problems
or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines,
computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment,
or software, or for failure of any e-mail or entry to be received
by MoreBeach® on account of technical problems or traffic
congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination
thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or
any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation
or downloading any materials in this promotion. CAUTION: ANY
ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE
OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION
OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE,
SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH CONTESTANT
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
