Cape Cod Surf Outlook Week of March 9 PDF Print E-mail

nantucket buoy

Outlook as of Saturday 3/15 9:am: Onshore and nasty today. Tuesday continues to look good.

Friday 3/14 1:40pm: Cute little ankle biters out there. Looks like the wind will be pretty much onshore for the next week. Next Tuesday still has promise.

Thursday 3/13 12:15pm: Hard to call the next few days. Wind could turn offshore long enough for something small but nice tomorrow and Saturday. If you're into long range planning try and open up some time in your schedule for Tuesday 3/18 for possible head high and clean conditions.

Tuesday 3/11 6:45am: Maybe knee high on the sets this morning. Tomorrow looks like it'll be the same. Something big brewing for the weekend. Next Monday could be head+ and perfect.

Sunday 3/9 11am:There's a nice swell out there and if you're as narrow as razor blade you won't be blown off your board when you pop up.  It's worth checking out beaches with wind protection... Nauset Light and points north.  Looking to the week ahead Tuesday might have some long board waves in the thigh high range.

Here's the NOAA forecast for the Cape Cod area.
