nantucket buoy

Outlook as of Saturday 7:15am - Today we'll see chest+ wind swell powered by 12 mph NE wind. Waves continue tomorrow with diminished wind. Storm blows in from SE on Monday, driving head+ waves on Tuesday with wind 25 mph offshore. Wednesday continues to look good with gentle offshore and chest high.

Friday 7:15am - Knee high and glassy today, low tide at 10am. Waist-chest high NE swell with 10 mph+ NE wind Saturday and Sunday. Monday could be head high waves from the E with 15 mph ESE onshore wind. New swell comes in from S on Tuesday with strong SE wind. Looks like clean up day with chest high is Wednesday.

Thursday 8:15am -Waist high today with wind NW at 10+mph, low tide at 9:15. Low pressure coming through Sunday should clean up by next Wednesday with head high and offshore.

Wednesday 4:15pm - It's been a beautiful day with solid waist to chest and occasional head high. Still nice this afternoon. Tomorrow shows no swell but the chart info could be wrong. Friday looks like knee high, Saturday and Sunday maybe chest, all with onshore wind of approx 10mph. Keep fingers crossed for next Tuesday and possible 2X head with offshore wind.

Tuesday 7:30am - Nantucket Buoy showing SE 3.9' at 7 secs. High tide is at 1:15pm. Light breeze onshore. Tomorrow's waves will be slightly smaller with modest wind offshore. This coming Sunday and Monday look promising with possible head high.

Monday 6:50am - Waist high today continues through Wednesday. Wind onshore today at 10 mph, high tide at 1:10pm. Wind goes lighter tomorrow and offshore on Wednesday.

Sunday 8:00am - Waist high waves from the east through Thursday. The wind will be onshore until Wednesday when there's a chance it'll turn SW.
