Scusset Beach Sagamore MA 02561 41.7812-70.5036
Description
Scusset Beach, located on Cape Cod Bay at the Cape Cod Canal's
eastern side, is a very popular recreational area. Its campground is very
popular with RVers. Scusset also offers saltwater fishermen a pier and
1.5 miles of canal shoreline.
During summertime, this beach remains relatively uncrowded. Most visitor
traffic is concentrated within the camping area then.
Scusset is also a perfect spot for viewing boats and ships pass through
the canal. Public facilities here consist of restrooms, showers and a
picnic area. Concessions are available at the park's snack bar. Lifeguards
are on duty in-season.
