Description
Peggotty is located in a residential section of Scituate. It's essentially a point break with a rocky bottom. This is a long right and shorter left when the surf is working. Typically, it's a mellow break best suited for longboarding.

The beach itself is relatively quiet, but can get crowded with a good swell. Parking is available at a small lot directly facing the beach, but is for residents only. There are no public facilities here.

Directions
From Route 3, take exit 13. Off the exit, turn left from north/right from south. At the first light turn right on Route 123 east. Drive 6 miles until passing thru the Route 3A intersection. Immediately after 3A turn right towards Scituate Harbor. Then travel 2.2 miles to Edward Foster Rd. and turn right. Your first right is Peggotty Beach Rd. and look for the parking lot on right.
