Description
Minot, located in Scituate near the Cohasset border, is a small
sandy beach that features scenic views of its namesake lighthouse. Like
Egypt Beach, it's accessible off Gannett Rd. in the northern part of town.
Parking consists of a residents-only municipal lot. Lifeguards are not
on duty, and no public facilities exist here. Concessions are not available,
either.

Directions
From the south, turn right on Rte. 3A, following it into Scituate. Continue
on towards Gannett Rd. Turn left on Gannett and follow it all the way
until it turns into Glades Rd. near the Minot Lighthouse. Look for the
beach on the righthand side across from Bailey's Causeway.
From the south, turn left on Rte. 3A and travel thru one stoplight. Then
look for signs for North Scituate. Drive past the first sign and turn
right at the second, following Gannett Rd. all the way until it turns
into Glades Rd. near the Minot Lighthouse. Look for the beach on the righthand
side across from Bailey's Causeway.
