Description
Egypt Beach presents a rocky beach with a small sandbar just offshore between North Scituate
and Sand Hill beaches. It's located in northern Scituate near the Cohasset
town line. This area has a gradual sand bottom producing easier waves
and is ideal for longboarding. There are some scattered rocks along the
shoreline. No facilities exist here. Lifeguards are on duty here in-season.
Parking is for residents only.

Directions
From the south, turn right on Rte. 3A, following it into Scituate. Continue
on towards Gannett Rd. Turn left on Gannett and follow it to the first
stoplight. Ahead on the left is Nor'easter and Pipeline Salon on the right.
Past the surf shops turn right on Hatherly Rd. Egypt Beach's parking lot
is on the lefthand side.
From the south, turn left on Rte. 3A and travel thru one stoplight. Then
look for signs for North Scituate. Drive past the first sign and turn
right at the second, following Gannett Rd. to your first stoplight. Ahead
on the left is Nor'easter and Pipeline Salon on the right. Past the surf
shops turn right on Hatherly Rd. Egypt Beach's parking lot is on the lefthand
side.
