| | East Matunuck State Beach, South Kingstown Description This area is popular during the summer season for swimming and off-season for walking. Its pavilion offers a scenic view of the sand dunes within Succotash Salt Marsh, a state-managed wetlands conservation area. On a sunny day, Block Island is clearly visible on the horizon. Public parking is available year round, but requires a daily fee in the summer. Lifeguards are on duty here in-season.
