Ballards Beach,
Block Island

Description
Owned by Ballard's Inn, this public beach is popular with boaters and the younger crowd. Volleyball nets exist with daily summer games and tournaments. Lifeguards are on duty here in-season. Facilities include restrooms, a picnic area, lifeguards and a restaurant with deck overlooking the shoreline. The area also offers great views of Rhode Island Sound and Old Harbor.
