Most arrogant/rude lifeguards you will find anywhere. They will scream at you to get out of the water anytime there is some good surf to enjoy. They patrol the beach in their beach-mobile like it is a war zone and shout through their loudspeaker that this is a DANGER ZONE and kick you out of the water. I have witnessed several instances of their rudeness telling a father watching his child play to go play somewhere else because some waves were crashing behind them over the rocks ( they were not even getting sprayed ). Choose some other beach where lifeguards are in your side and are professional and out there to help you enjoy the beach even if you have to drive 50 miles more. Any business treating their customers like they do will go bankrupt.

This is one of the best beaches in NE for body surfing when there are good waves. Only drawback is lifeguards are no fun and have made it their mission lately to stop you from having fun in the waves by the name of safety. They will be constantly blowing their whistles all day and closing parts of the beach on any forecast of good surf. It's a shame because this used to be a nice beach for people to have fun in the waves.
