York Harbor Beach

York Harbor Beach is a favorite of local residents and visitors. The beach offers fine sand and tide pools among the rocks. No facilities are offered here, there is no snackbar, restroom or lifeguard. Street parking is by permit only. The beach is located at the entrance to York Harbor and is exposed only to swell from the east. On most days this beach will see no surf or small surf, making it a great beach for kids.

There actually is a lifeguard on duty durring the summer, until 4:30. Also, restrooms and an outdoor shower are right off the beach on the road up to the main road.
