Description
Short Sands is a small, sandy beach. Facilities here include a bathhouse, showers, basketball court and playground. Lifeguards are also on duty in-season. The beach itself is a short distance from Sohier Park and scenic Nubble Light. Parking consists of metered spaces in a municipal lot located off Route 1A. Additionally, there are also shops, an arcade and bowling alley adjacent to beach for further entertainment options during your vacation stay.

Directions
From the Maine Turnpike take the York exit and follow Route 1A through York Village past Long Beach. If coming from the South, take Route 1S and turn off on Route 1A in Cape Neddick, or take the Shore Road from Ogunquit until it turns into Route 1A South.
