Description
Kennebunk Beach is 1.5 miles of fine sand beach that is popular
for swimming, surfing and walking. The north end, called Gooch's Beach,
is the largest section, followed by Middle Beach and then Mother's Beach.
Gooch's Beach has soft sand and gentle surf. Middle Beach is rocky with
sandy patches and Mother's Beach is all sand with a playground. Lifeguards
are available at both Gooch's and Mother's Beaches. Gooch's also has public
restrooms. There are no concessions or other facilities available here.
Parking requires a town sticker. Non-residents passes can be purchased
at the Kennebunk police station or town offices.

Directions
From the Maine Turnpike take the Wells exit and follow Route 9 to Route
1S, then follow signs to the beach.
