Description
Long Sands is a 2180-yd sandy beach with designated surfing area located on Route 1A between York Village and York Beach. Metered parking is available along the road. This area has summer camps on one side of the road and the beach on the other. It also offers scenic views of Nubble Light. Facilities include restrooms and a bathhouse. Lifeguards are on duty here in-season.

Directions
Take the Shore Road from Ogunquit and at the center of town turn left on Ocean Ave. You’ll pass Short Sands Beach, Sohier Park and Nubble Light. Ocean Avenue (Route 1A) runs right along Long Sands Beach.
