Description
This area features woods, rocky ledges, sand dunes and views
of a small island. The beach itself is a mile-long, elliptical shaped
shoreline ideal for walking, sunbathing and/or beach games. Its fine sand
gradually becomes rockier toward the shore. The gentle surf and warm water
make Crescent very popular with families. Facilities include public restrooms,
a bathhouse, concessions, picnic area, playground and a boat launch. Lifeguards
are on duty in-season. Payphones are also present. Nature trails offer
pleasant hiking here. Parking is plentiful.
