Pamet Harbor, Wellfleet, Cape Cod, MALocated on the Outer Cape, Wellfleet offers an abundance of quaint rural seaside character and charm. Bordered on the east by the Atlantic Ocean and on the west by Cape Cod Bay, 61% of Wellfleet's land area lies in the Cape Cod National Seashore. During the summer, the population here swells to an estimated 17,000 who enjoy the miles of ocean and bayside beaches.

refreshing spring-fed ponds, art galleries, shops and restaurants. Wellfleet Harbor provides a constantly changing scenery of sailboats, yachts, sport fishing boats and trawlers.

This diverse community has a 300-year-old nautical history. The town center provides visitors with an array of browsing, dining and sight-seeing attractions within a relatively short walk. Wellfleet is also home to the Audubon Society Wildlife Sanctuary.

Some of the Cape's best surfcasting, saltwater sport and freshwater fishing can be found in Wellfleet. The town is also renowned for its shellfish, especially the famous "Wellfleet Oyster".
Recently, it has been recognized for the contemporary architecture of its newer-built homes. Many dwellings feature naturalized landscapes and weathered wood exteriors for minimial maintenance.
