Description: This area, sometimes called Herring Cove Beach, faces Vineyard Sound and the channel leading into Lake Tashmoo. Waves here are normally small. However, currents can be quite strong inside the channel. Lifeguards are on duty in-season. Tashmoo is owned and operated by the Town of Tisbury.

  

  Directions: Located at the end of Herring Creek Road on a dirt road off Daggett Avenue.
