Surfside Beach , Nantucket

Description: Surfside is a very popular beach with teens and families with children. Favorite activities here include surfcasting and sandcastle building. This is also a prime picnic spot.

Heavy surf is common. Facilities include restrooms, showers and a concession stand. Surfside is easily accessible to beachgoers by bus or bike.

Directions: Located at the end of Surfside Rd., this beach can also be reached via bicycle on a 2.2-mile paved trail or via NRTA seasonal shuttle bus.
