Description
Red River Beach resides on Nantucket Sound. It is Harwich’s largest municipal beachfront. Facilities include featuring public restrooms. Daily ice cream truck visits provide concessions during the summer. Lifeguards are also on duty here in-season.

This is a favorite site for kayakers, kiteboarders and windsurfers. Boaters often launch here to make their short run to the Monomoy Island Wildlife Refuge, also. The parking lot accommodates 240 cars and requires a daily fee between Memorial & Labor Days.
