Oyster Pond, Chatham,

Description: Oyster Pond offers a protected sandy beach on a quiet saltwater pond near the center of Chatham. This is a great beach for young children. Surrounded by marshes and connected to Stage Harbor and Nantucket Sound, Oyster Pond, is a good place to begin a kayak tour (take note of the tides before setting out).

Directions: From South Chatham follow Rt 28 East to rotary, head south on Stage Harbor Rd.
