North Beach, Chatham
Description: Located at the southern tip of Orleans'
Outer Beach, this secluded area is accessible only by boat from Pleasant
Bay or 4WD from the Nauset Beach parking lot. Its soft white sand, deep
blue water and rolling surf make North Beach the perfect spot for a private,
undisturbed day at the seashore.

There are no facilities here, so come prepared with your own provisions
for the trip. The Outer Beach is five miles of rolling dunes, shorline
and surf that stretches from Nauset Beach proper to North Beach at its
end. The surf can be especially big here, so please be aware of ocean
conditions when planning your outing.t Nauset Beach Administration or
the Orleans PD for details. |
