Moshup Martha's Vineyard

Description: Moshup extends from Philbin Beach to the protected Gay Head red clay cliffs. This beach is about a 10 minute walk from the parking lot on a wide groomed path.

Famous for its strong surf and natural beauty, Moshup was named one of the Travel Channel's Best Walking Beaches in America. Nude sunbathing was informally allowed within a specially zoned area in years past - today bathing suits are required in all areas. Restrooms and concessions are located at the head of the cliffs.

Seasonal parking requires a daily fee.

Directions: Beach is located off Moshup Trail. Entrance lies past Philbin Beach from access trail from parking area.
