Description: Chapin Beach is a popular destination among 4WD owners, who can drive on the beach with a special sticker. During low tide, clammers can also walk out over a mile on Cape Cod Bay's sprawling tidal flats.
Near high tide, this is a great spot to surfcast for striped bass and bluefish from shore. Chapin lacks lifeguards or restrooms, but portable toilets are present. The small parking area requires a daily fee in-season.
