Brant Point , Nantucket

Description: Brant Point is a picturesque beach adjacent to its namesake lighthouse at the entrance to Nantucket Harbor. This spot offers an ideal vantage point to watch boats come and go from the Nantucket Yacht Basin.

Brant Point is the first landmark visible from the ferry upon entering the Harbor. This beach is also conveniently close to downtown, making it an easy walk or bike ride from the main road. There are no lifeguards or facilities here.

Please note that there is a strong current, so swimming is discouraged except for the well-experienced.

Directions: Brant Point is located at the mouth of Nantucket Harbor on the Sound side of the Island.
