Description: Revere Beach is historically significant
in being America's first public beach. It is located across the road from
two MBTA Blue Line T-stops. This makes it a popular spot for people from
all around the Boston metropolitan area. The beach itself is approximately
3 miles of crescent-shaped coastline. During the summer it can get extremely
crowded and is usually packed with beachgoers on weekdays, much less weekends.
Facilities here include public restrooms, a bathhouse and concessions.
The adjacent bandstand is designated for summer concert use.
