Description
Pleasure Bay is one of the busiest beaches in Boston. This area is popular with swimmers because a protective jetty encloses the bay, blocking waves and maintaining good water quality. The Head Island Causeway, a paved trail located behind the beach, is perfect for sightseeing around Pleasure Bay. Facilities here include park benches & a boat launch. Lifeguards are also on duty in-season. The shoreline here overlooks Boston Harbor and the city itself.
