Description
Malibu and Savin Hill Beaches are great spots
for summer sunbathing in the city. Facilities here include public restrooms
and a boat launch. Renovations include a new beach promenade, playground
and improved lighting/landscaping. Malibu features a protected swimming
zone and bathhouse. Savin Hill offers baseball fields and another protected
swimming area. Combined parking consists of a 50-car municipal lot. Both
beaches also overlook the famous Boston Gas Tank, the world's largest
copyrighted artwork.

Public transit: Savin Hill T stop on the Red Line. Follow Savin Hill Avenue
one quarter mile to both beaches
By car: from JFK/Columbia Rd exit on Rte 93. From Columbia Rd Rotary follow
Morrissey Boulevard one half mile south to both beaches.
