Description: This mile-long waterfront path offers scenic views of Niantic Bay and Long Island Sound. Entrances lie at Cini Park and Hole-in-the-Wall beach. Interpretive signage provides historical and scientific background for the area. Parking is available at either end. Niantic’s eastern half is an actual boardwalk spanning over beach grass covered dunes. Bordering this is a narrow public white-sand beach. Its western half is a gravel path along which waves lap against a rocky shore. No real facilities exist here.
