Directions: From East: Take I-95 S to Exit 62. Turn left off exit on Hammonasset Connector.
Turn right at first stoplight on Rt. 1. Turn left on East Wharf Rd. & follow to beach at end.
From West: I-95 N to Exit 61. Turn right off exit on Rt. 79/Durham Rd. Next, turn left on Rt. 1
& continue to East Wharf Rd. Turn right here & follow to beach at end.

Description: East Wharf is a Madison town beach featuring a fish pier. Years ago, this area functioned as a shipyard. An event gazebo offers scenic views of Long Island Sound. Beach access is limited to summer season pass holders. Passes are sold at the town recreation office. Pets are not allowed here. Rafts and other inflatable beach toys are also prohibited. Facilities include public restrooms and said pier.
