Long Beach is a fairly exposed beach break. It's also a very consistent spot that breaks year round. The ideal wind direction here is from the northwest. It typically receives a mixture of wind and groundswell, and the best swell angle is northeast. This break offers rideable lefts and rights. As with any well-known break, the crowd factor can become problematic when conditions are good.
