Description
Wingaersheek is a small, scenic beach at the mouth of the Annisquam
River. This 1.5 mile area is a very safe environment for younger children.
The beach itself is located on a protected inlet, which is both calm and
shallow. The topography is sandy and flat. Families make up the vast majority
of the visitor base here. The surrounding area is scenic, offering great
views of the Annisquam Lighthouse. The small parking lot fills up quickly.
Plan on arriving in-season before 9:30AM, or you may not get a space.
Lifeguards are also on duty here in-season. Concessions are also available.

Directions
Take Route 128 to Exit 13 (Concord Street). Turn left and follow to Atlantic
Road. Then turn right and follow all the way to the beach.
